  1. Fried frailty score is calculated using Fried Frailty Phenotype criteria. The Fried frailty phenotype proposes that frailty be defined as a clinical syndrome in which 3 or more of the five following criteria are present, and pre-frailty in which 1 or 2 criteria are present: unintentional weight loss (> 10lbs in the past year), self- reported exhaustion, weakness (grip strength), slow walking speed, and low levels of physical activity [8]
