Table 1 Inclusion and exclusion criteria

1. Male or female aged 60 years or older

2. Reported falls from AERS

3. Falls during the hospitalization period

4. Hospitalized in a medical, surgical, gynecological, emergency, or geriatrics ward

1. Falls occurred outside the hospital and the patient went to a medical institution for treatment of the fall-related injury

2. Falls during outpatient visits
