-I realized that if I couldn’t manage to walk again, it would seriously impact future life. The horrible thought of being tied to a wheelchair, and the importance of being able to stand on my own feet … My goal could be expressed in one single sentence: The rehabilitation program was going to help me to walk again. The importance of exercise

-But it’s quite clear that after being bedridden for so long, exercising is important to regain physical function. If you’re not physical fit, normal life becomes difficult. (Male participant, P15)
