Initially a total of 7536 community-dwelling multi-ethnics Chinese aged 50 or older were recruited, 4500 participants did bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) were analyzed in this study. Among them, 1560 participants without low gait speed and low grip strength, 2071 participants without low ASMI and 869 participants met the AWGS criteria of sarcopenia
