  1. a n=65, 65 patients had a history of opiate use prior to the initial visit, of whom 13 received an opiate prescription at the initial visit. Four patients, who had not received an opiate prescription previously, received one at the initial visit. Of the 17 prescribed opiates at the initial visit, 12 received a bowel regimen and 1 had a contraindication for a bowel regimen
