The unadjusted model and models marked “conventional adjustment” estimate the effect using a pooled logistic regression model – which is comparable to a Cox-regression analysis – with different degrees of adjustment as indicated. Estimates are therefore not the customary hazard ratios, but are instead expressed as odds ratios. The labels “Mild”, “Moderate” and “Severe” refer to estimates given different degrees of age-related white matter lesions
